Mental Telepathy Brought Her Back

Puffalump showed up for lunch a few minutes ago!! My Momma squealed Puff's name and ran to the window and watched Puffalump eat. Puff looked up once and said, "Mew" like always and went back to eating. Momma admitted to Poppa that she had visions of Puffalump dead along the side of the road. She is such an alarmist -- she has that same vision if Poppa is late.

The earth is back on its axis. I can get down from my vigil in the window. I think I'll go take a nap now.

Where Are YoooOOoou?

Puffalump, where are you? My Momma keeps going to the window looking for you. You weren't in your usual spot waiting hungrily for breakfast this morning. You are always there especially when you have to wait longer because Momma slept in.

Please come by soon Puffalump before Momma wears a trench in the carpet from pacing. It's not like I'm worried about you, I just don't like to see my Momma fret.

Rainbow Bridge

Phantom:  September, 1995 - November 29, 2006

My Momma's friend lost her love today.  Phantom went to sleep one last time and then went over Rainbow Bridge.  Miss Wendy is broken-hearted and me and my Momma are very sad for the loss of her boy.

Phantom left a message for you...

Dear Mom,

Don't worry about me, I am fine up here.  Me and Zoot will watch over you and Dad and my sweet sister, Shadow.  Some day we will all be together again.  No rush though, Mom.  Until then I will ride around in your heart and you in mine.

Love & Purrs,
Your Sweet Boy

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.  There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.  There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.  The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Little Beggar Boy

The other day when my Momma was still in a quandry over what to do about Lewis' food she looked outside at the empty bowl.  This is what she saw.

First he just looked in.  Then he saw my Momma.
Momma wented out and put more food in Lewis' bowl.

Momma has seen the bowl get emptied by the mystery critter during the daytime too....so maybe it's not a raccoon?  Momma decided that for now she'll keep putting food out for hungry Lewis and the other cats and critters.

Five Things

I have been tagged by my Sweet William to list 5 weird things/habits. I'm sorry I was so slow, Tiny Dancer but I couldn't get my Momma off the computer! I'd puuuuuuuuush and push but she wouldn't budge until a few minutes ago.

Here are my five weird eccentric things.

1. I'm afraid of the yard man. When he comes by on Fridays with that nasty leaf-blower I go to my favorite safe place. This is the same place I choose during a thunderstorm. I go sit behind the bathroom door where my Momma's bathrobe hangs from a hook. I sit with my head up inside the robe. The robe has magical mystic protective powers.

2. I sleep best snugged up against my Momma or Poppa. If neither is available, I just take little catnaps until they're around for me to lounge on.

3. I thought my heart was going to burst when Momma went outside to pet Lewis a few minutes ago. It's one thing to feed him but I thought I was gonna die when Momma cooed and petted Lewis. I'm not jealous. Nope.

4. I love to sit at the spare chair during dinner and stare at my Momma until she gives me something. If I can get her to spit out a little piece of something she's chewing, all the better. Everything tastes better with Momma spit on it.

5. If my collar falls off for whatever reason, I will snag it with a claw and take it to Momma to have it put back on. I don't like being nekkid.

Handsome Poodie Boy

I love these moderate temperatures. When it's not too hot, and not too cold, my Mommy will open the patio doors. I love sitting at the screen and watching the birdies and buggies outside. But guess what? Every day for a few weeks I have a visitor. Another kitty comes by and keeps me company. He's a pretty blue/grey boy that lives down the street. He sits quietly on the outside and I sit quietly on the inside and we just keep each other company. Sometimes we talk back and forth and sometimes we even argue. He's a nice boy and very handsome. He always leaves when my Mommy tries to take a picture of us. He's shy that way.

I wonder what that would be like to be allowed to wander freely as I choose?

I thought my poodie friends would enjoy this. I don't know these kitties but wow, I wish I could play with 'em!

Rockin' Robin

ZzzzzzI have a friend that lives in 'laska.  I don't know exactly where that is for sure just that it's far and really crazy cold there.  And they have lots of big animals there just roaming around -- eagles, bears, otters (my mommy loves otters!), fuzzy squirrels, oh...and moose.

Anyways, my friend's name is Airborne.  Isn't that a cool name?  Here is a picture of Airborne being driven crazy by an insane robin.  The robin keeps flying at the window screen over and over.  It flies up to the screen, pecks at the screen then lands on the grass.  Is the robin disrespecting Airborne or just trying to get her to come outside to play?

Airborne's Mommy is an amazing pi'xchure taker.  Here is more of her work
